iSight feels warm

iSight becomes warm after extended periods of use.

After extended periods of use, the surfaces of the iSight camera will become warm. iSight was designed to comply with safety agency specifications; therefore, the surface temperature should not present a safety issue.

To ensure the iSight maintains a safe temperature, use it in a place where the temperature is always between 0º C and 35º C.

Note: iSight complies with the safety standard for Safety of Information Technology Equipment, IEC 60950. This safety standard has been adopted by many countries and is referred to as the following:

• UL 60950 in the United States,
  
• CSA 60950-00 in Canada,
  
• EN60950 in Europe, and
  
• ASNZ3260 in Australia and New Zealand.
