PowerBook: Audio CD Stops Playing

Download and install Authoring Support 1.1.3 or later if your PowerBook computer stops playing audio CDs.

Symptom

After upgrading to Mac OS 9.2.1, your PowerBook computer occasionally stops playing audio CDs.

Solution

Download and install Authoring Support 1.1.3 or later from Apple Software Downloads (http://www.apple.com/swupdates/).

Turn off the SDAP Authoring Support extension.

1. Open the Extensions Manager control panel.
2. Click the checkbox to turn off the SDAP Authoring Support extension.

Note: This extension is not needed on this computer model unless you are using a third-party CD-RW expansion bay device.
