How to tell if the iSight 1.0.2 Updater is installed

Here are some easy ways to tell if you need to install iSight firmware 1.0.2.

Open iChat

The update isn't installed if this alert appears when you open iChat:

"iSight Update Available
iChat has detected a software update available for the iSight. Would you like to install it now?"

Check the Install button

Download and open the iSight 1.0.2 Updater. If the "Install" button is blue and blinks, you can install the update.

If "Install" button isn't blue and doesn't blink, the update has already been installed.

Tip: "Version number 1.0.2" appears in the iSight Updater 1.0.2 window if firmware 1.0.2 is already installed.

Use Apple System Profiler

1. Disconnect iSight from your computer.
   
2. Reconnect iSight.
   
3. Open Apple System Profiler and check iSight's firmware revision.
